DA Rates

Dearness Allowance (DA) rates for pensioners are revised periodically by the Government of Odisha based on the recommendations of pay commissions and changes in the cost of living index.

Applicability

DA is payable on the basic pension amount to all pensioners and family pensioners.

Revision

DA rates are revised from time to time and are generally announced through Government Orders. The rates are applicable from specific dates as notified by the Government.

Calculation

DA is calculated as a percentage of the basic pension and is added to the monthly pension payment.

Important Note

Pensioners are advised to check the official website regularly for updates on DA rates. DA revisions are usually implemented from January 1st and July 1st of each year, subject to Government Orders.
