Checklists for GPF Final Payment Cases

The following checklist should be verified before submission of GPF Final Payment application to ensure all necessary documents and information are complete:

Essential Documents Required:

  • Application for Final Payment of GPF (Form OTC80A or OTC80C for nominees)
  • Copy of the latest GPF Account Statement/Slip
  • Service Book or Certificate of Service
  • Retirement Order or Proof of cessation of service
  • Nomination form (if applicable)
  • DDO Certificate

Information to be Verified:

  • Full name of subscriber (as per service records)
  • Correct GPF Account Number with suffix
  • Date of birth
  • Date of joining service
  • Date of retirement/cessation of service
  • Up-to-date GPF balance
  • Pending advances or withdrawals (if any)
  • Missing credits (if any) should be reported

Important Points to Remember:

  • Application should be submitted well in advance (at least 6 months before retirement)
  • All discrepancies in the GPF account should be resolved before final payment
  • Missing credits should be reported and adjusted
  • Ensure all advances have been recovered
  • Nomination should be up to date
  • Application must be forwarded through the concerned DDO

Note: The final payment balance may differ from the account slip balance due to adjustments of missing credits/debits and other rectifications.
