Authority Despatch Info
After authorization of pension by the Controller of Accounts, Odisha, the pension authority is dispatched to the concerned Treasury Officer and intimation is sent to the pensioner.
Dispatch Process
- Pension authorization is uploaded to IFMS website
- Electronic copy is available for Treasury Officer to download
- Physical copy is dispatched to the designated Treasury
- Intimation letter is sent to the pensioner
SMS Notifications
SMS notifications are sent to registered pensioners regarding:
- Dispatch of pension authority to Treasury
- Status of pension authorization
- Intimation letter available for download
- Instructions for drawing first pension
Tracking Dispatch Status
Pensioners can track the status of their pension authority dispatch through:
- Office website using PPO number
- SMS alerts on registered mobile number
- Contacting the concerned Treasury Officer
- Grievance/Enquiry system
Documents Required for First Pension
After receipt of intimation, pensioner should visit the Treasury Officer with:
- Copy of Pension Authorization Letter
- PAN/Aadhaar Card copy
- Non-Drawal Certificate (NDC) from DDO
- Other documents as required by Treasury
Note: It is not necessary for the pensioner to visit the COA office to draw the first pension. The pensioner must visit the concerned Treasury Officer indicated in the Pension Intimation Letter.
